Events cancelled a week or less prior to the event date are subject to a cancellation fee, which is comprised of the floral costs and any specialty containers ordered for the event (does not include basic glass containers). In some cases, if product is not yet in transit or received, a full cancellation without fees may be possible.
Because we work with perishable goods, dependent on seasonality, weather, and sometimes, a great distance of travel, specific flower requests may be substituted with product of similar value and/or aesthetic. Event planners will be notified of any potential increase in costs.
Depending on the size and complexity of an event, delivery and setup fees may vary.
Please note that some events require staff setup, which may incur additional costs.
UFS regularly delivers to Ann Arbor, Chelsea, Dexter, Saline, and Ypsilanti. Deliveries outside of these areas are subject to additional delivery fees based on the mileage outside the standard area.
UFS is open Monday-Saturday 10am - 5pm. Sunday deliveries, as well as after-hours deliveries, are subject to an additional charge (up to twice the delivery fee). Some exceptions may apply.
All events require a credit card, PCard or shortcode on file at least 2 weeks prior the event date. Event payments made by check should be made out to Univeristy Flower Shop and delivered or mailed to 7 Nickels Arcade, Ann Arbor, MI 48104, at least 1 week prior the event.
All the above applies to UM events. No delivery charges apply on single daily orders. Preferred payment method is shortcode, though PCard is accepted. Click here for more information on University-related event.
